Welcome to the Adirondack Railway Preservation Society

Founded in 1992, ARPS preserves the history of rail transportation throughout the Adirondack Park and supports the operation and interpretation of the Adirondack Railroad. Our archives contain a vast amount of photographs, documents, maps, and artifacts documenting more than a century of railroad history.
